For a while now, I’ve been quiet on the website front. There have been some changes in my life and my online interractions have changed rather drastically, as a result. To put it in a nutshell, I just don’t spend as much time online as I used to. It’s been liberating, in a way, not slogging away at website and Livejournal updates, but there have been things that I’ve missed. The issue has been rumbling away at the back of my head and this redesign of InsanitySandwich.com marks a new direction.
From now on, the main page at InsanitySandwich.com will be a personal blog rather than a site collective. The blog will primarily focus on books (one of the things I’ve missed has been updating my monthly ‘books wot I’ve read’ lists, though they are of interest to very few people but myself), but I suspect other topics will sneak in. I have, for example, been toying with the idea of putting up photo sets of various locations around Glasgow. And if I manage to not have a rant about politics or TV once in a while, I’ll be surprised. I’m currently using a very lightly edited template, something which may or may not change in the future.
The fanlistings collective has been moved to which currently uses the old layout for this website, but I hope to change that very soon. It was a bit of a pain transferring my Enthusiast settings over to the new address, so do let me know if you come across any errors anywhere.
So raise your glasses, and wish me luck. Let’s see how dedicated I remain to this new direction of mine
